"Empathy and the Social Sciences: the Empathic School and the Cilento International Poetry Prize"

On 17 April 2024, the meeting entitled "Empathy and Social Sciences: the Empathic School and the Cilento Poetry International Prize", organised by the Department of Political and Social Studies/SPS of the University of Salerno, was successfully held.

The event was based on a memorandum of understanding between the Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio of Salerno and Avellino, the Department of Political and Social Studies / diSPS of the University of Salerno and the Centro Contemporaneo delle Arti / CecArt for the development and achievement of shared projects.

Welcomed by the Head of the Department, Gennaro Iorio, and numerous students from the University, the speakers included the Superintendent of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of Salerno and Avellino, Raffaella Bonaudo, the diSPS professor, Katia Ballacchino, the official in charge of the Superintendency's Demoetnoantrological Sector, Rosa Maria Vitola, the creator of the Empatica School and the Cilento Poetry Prize, Menotti Lerro, and Vincenzo Auriemma from the University of Salerno.
